DESCRIPTION:Workshop: Boro Sampler \nJapanese mending techniques are used to repair and strengthen garments and textile items. When left visible\, the repairs are also decorative. In this workshop\, participants create a sampler of mending techniques seen in Japanese Boro textiles\, and then will repair or embellish a garment or textile of their choice. \n  \n \nAdult Center Meeting  Room ( C-35) \n1:30 to 5:00 PM   3.5 hour workshop\, Kit Fee $10 \nClass size: 20 students \n$65 members\, $75 guests \nSupply List \n\nA textile item that needs repair or embellishing; has worn area that needs reinforcing\, a hole or tear\, a stain that needs covering\, or embellishment.
