Glennis Dolce will present a lively and informative view of textiles of Japan based on her own personal collection and travels to Japan leading the Silk Study Tour since 2009. A shared slideshow replete with many images from her collection as well as stories about the textiles, where they were collected, what to look for when buying vintage Japanese textiles will be part of the presentation. The variety of materials & textile techniques include silks, cotton, hemp and shibori, indigo, katazome, meisen, boro, and more.
