Karen Graves Webinar: Murmurations
Murmurations – The dictionary defines this as
“a flock of starlings that fly in a coordinated, twisting, and swirling pattern”
Karin sees a similar movement in painting designs on fabric. Using pieces of previously painted
linen, she helps to tap into shapes and designs which will be assembled and then appliqued,
creating art objects that can be incorporated into a garment, or even done on a large scale for a
complete piece.
