Zoom Workshop: Bling! Embellishment With Foil

The use of foil is unique and fascinating! Participants will use glues and transfer sheets to add metallic interest to an existing garment or fabric that they provide. Margaret will guide with ideas and processes unique to using foil as well as other materials, including methods to use foil on both woven and stretch fabrics. Included with be education of creating wash-fastness pieces.

KIT CHARGE $25
You will need & may already have:
A garment you would like to embellish
(can be new, used, or recycled)
A spoon, preferably metal
An iron – small craft or sewing iron is ne
A hair dryer
A brush – for using adhesive. (probably will not be reusable)
An old credit card, other sti plastic that size, or a palette knife
A stencil or something you can cut a stencil out of, like contact paper
Masking tape
