When you think of beautiful things made of ribbon, what is your picture? Antique clothing from past centuries or today’s haute couture? Judith will share her path from California College of Arts and Crafts, majoring in fabric surface design and sculpture, to finding her true passion in ribbon work. She will explore the history and variety of ribbon trim in all its sumptuousness and show you how you can incorporate into your own pieces.

The history of the cyanotype process goes back almost as far as photography itself. Sara Eberhart will explain the historical beginnings of this alternative photography process and introduce you to how a few contemporary artists use this medium on paper and fabric.
