Throughout history, human beings have projected their imaginations to predict the mode of fashion and style in times to come. Kevin and Andy will lead you on a guided tour through some of those imaginings, including works from science fiction artists and fans.

Kevin and Andy have been designing and making costumes and wearable art for most of their lives; they met at a costuming convention! Over the years, they’ve acquired a plethora of odd, unusual, and clever tricks to use in their projects, ranging from sneaky tricks with sewing and washing machines, to incorporating sheet metal design into pattern drafting. In this workshop they’ll share some of their favorite unusual techniques and tools.
