At its December 14, 2013 meeting, PenWAG was pleased to honor four members to its illustrious Hall of Fame.
Long time member Shaun Sasaki has served PenWAG in financial capacities for many years as treasurer, auditor or tax advisor. She has been President and web master as well as coordinator of the guild’s booth at the Pacific International Quilt Festival. Her efforts on behalf of the guild to garner its educational 501(c)3 non-profit status with both federal and state government took enormous hours of research and time. Shaun is most deserving of this award.

Judi Seip has changed the face of PenWAG with her branding of the organization. Her creation of flyers, post cards and other marketing materials has brought attention to the guild and has increased membership. Her vision for the look and feel of the newly released website was brilliant and saved the design team a great deal of time. For her efforts, Judi has earned her spot in the Hall of Fame.

Kevin Roche and Andrew Trembley worked tirelessly to create the new, improved PenWAG website. The face of PenWAG has once again been changed by their efforts. Their dedication to improving the image of the guild is exemplary. Kevin and Andy have, throughout their tenure at the guild, freely offered invaluable technical guidance as well as good humor and good will. Andy’s photographs of members “Show and Tell” offerings have brought the newsletter to an elegant level. The “boys” as they are familiarly known deserve this distinguished honor.

We congratulate these four members.
